Madeline Sugerman accepted to the first Encaustic Art Institute's Juried Online Exhibit "BEGINNINGS"

I am pleased to have been accepted to The Encaustic Art Institute’s Juried First Online Exhibition entitled BEGINNINGS. My piece int he exhibit is entitled “UNIVERSAL THOUGHT” It is an encaustic and mixed media work on a cradled board that has been custom framed. The work includes various semi precious stones from the Santa Fe, New Mexico area.

Juror Kathleen Waterloo narrowed down the entries to 31. In her words, “There are many talented artists that submitted and a difficult aspect of jurying was only being able to select one work per artist. The majority of the works truly captured the spirit of a new decade and new beginnings. It is quite a game changer when mid stream of the call, a world crisis comes to the forefront and many late entries reflect that perfectly”.
