ONE BOOK SOUTHWEST FLORIDA POSTER AND NOTECARDS

 "The Sunflower", a novel by Simon Weisenthal, was selected by "One book southwest florida" for the 2015-2016 season. I was asked to design a poster and notecard for the event. I was truly moved by the poignant story and thrilled to be a part of such important discussions based on Simon Weisenthal's thought provoking novel.

During the fall there is a profusion of sunflowers that grow wild in the Corkscrew Swamp Santuary in Southwest Florida. The timing couldn't have been better for my photoshoot. Camera, tripod, sunhat and water in hand I set out to capture nature's splendor.

Posters and notecards were produced from my photo with all proceeds benefitting The Holocaust museum and education center of southwest florida.
